EVENT REGULATIONS

Participant Selection and Regulation Policies and Procedures

Festival Participation Rules and Regulations
These rules and regulations govern participation in the festival, which will be held from May 1st to May 9th, inclusive.
Selection Criteria
Priority: Games in the RELEASE status (full or early access), released no more than one year prior to the start date of the festival, will be considered for participation first.

Repeat Participation: Games that participated in the previous festival in the “Page” or “Demo” categories may be re-admitted only to the “Release” category (including early access).

Category Transfer to “Release”: If a game initially selected for the “Page” category is released (achieves “Release” status) before the start of the festival, it will be automatically transferred to the “Release” category.
Participant Obligations in the “Release” Category:
Discount: All games featured in the “Release” category are required to offer a discount, effective from May 1st at 20:00 [MSK].

Consequences of Non-Compliance: Games that fail to apply the discount by the specified deadline will be excluded from participation in the festival.
Selection Procedure
Notification: Organizers will contact developers directly whose games meet the criteria and are of particular interest to the festival.

Application Submission: A Google Form will be made available for application submissions from all other interested developers.
Limitations
Selection: While numerous new games will be considered, not all submissions will be accepted. The selection process will prioritize project quality and the degree of completion
Exemptions
“Publisher” and “Golden Classics” Categories: The rules outlined above do not apply to games featured in the “Publisher” and “Golden Classics” categories.
Discretionary Authority
Collective Decision: In exceptional circumstances, provided the game aligns with the festival’s theme, a game may be admitted to participate with some deviations from these established rules, based on a collective decision by the organizers.
